Установка MySQL и заливка dump.sql

Заголовок сообщения:  Установка MySQL и заливка dump.sql
Обязательно ли создается файл my.cnf?
При конфигурации он не появился
И такое ощущение, что C:\mysql\bin\mysql.exe -uroot --default-character-set=cp1251 < dump.sql
не выполняется



При Запуске происходит

-p, --password[=name]
Password to use when connecting to server. If password
not given it's asked from the tty.
-W, --pipe Use named pipes to connect to server.
-P, --port=# Port number to use for connection or 0 for default to,
order of preference, my.cnf, $MYSQL_TCP_PORT,
/etc/services, built-in default (3306).
--prompt=name Set the mysql prompt to this value.
--protocol=name The protocol of connection (tcp,socket,pipe,memory).
-q, --quick Don't cache result, print it row by row. This may slow
down the server if the output is suspended. Doesn't us
history file.
-r, --raw Write fields without conversion. Used with --batch.
--reconnect Reconnect if the connection is lost. Disable with
--disable-reconnect. This option is enabled by default
-s, --silent Be more silent. Print results with a tab as separator,
each row on new line.
--shared-memory-base-name=name
Base name of shared memory.
-S, --socket=name Socket file to use for connection.
--ssl Enable SSL for connection (automatically enabled with
other flags). Disable with --skip-ssl.
--ssl-ca=name CA file in PEM format (check OpenSSL docs, implies
--ssl).

Вы как-то все частями выдаете . дайте нормальный листинг - что вы набираете и что получаете в ответ .
судя по коду ошикби у вас прсото нет доступа . Что-то типа : "ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)"? Тогда вы просто параметр -p забыли, а для рута парроь задан

Про пароль Я уже написал Выше, с паролем заходит без проблем.

После не запускалась служба
BGBillingServer,

Я добавил
Path=C:\BGBillingServer

и запустил jsl.exe -debug C:\BGBillingServer\server.ini

благодаря этому Я узнал что нет файла msvcr71.dll

Потом нашел файл в инете msvcr71.dll и поместил его в C:\windows\system32 (его почему-то не было)

И Заново проинсталировал
Проинсталлируйте службу сервера. Для этого перейдите в папка C:\BGBillingServer и запустите server_install.bat.


Потом все заработало...

Я надеюсь мои сообщения кому-нибудь помогут. Я ведь столько дней мучался. Может и разработчики что-нибудь в мануал дополнят.

Биллинг ставил на чистую машину Win server 2003 SP 1

Я помню эту проблему, возможно вы пропустили пункт:

5) Аналогично скорректируйте переменную окружения PATH, добавив в конце путь к каталогу bin JAVA машины, например ;E:\j2sdk1.5.0\bin.

там в bin явы лежит эта библиотека по-моему.
